Week 19/ Happy Halloween!

We had a great and busy Halloween week.  We were worried about Halloween being cancelled this year due to Hurricane Sandy that made landfall on Monday.  However, we were super lucky to only have some strong winds and a little rain and never even lost power.  It was a nice break that Mother Nature gave us, maybe to make up for the 7 days we were without power a year ago after the freak Halloween blizzard.  Anyways, we did a few projects to get in the Halloween spirit.  Here we are making candy coated pretzel "pumpkins:"

And carving the pumpkin:
Watching her brothers playing in the yard:
Yum, yum, love tasting leaves!
No fall in Connecticut is complete without playing in the leaves:

Tummy time:

On Halloween, we had some friends over who live in an area not very trick-or-treating friendly.  Our neighborhood is perfect for it!  Here is the pumpkin Hayes and I carved:

The trick-or-treaters:
My Fish and Watermelon:
Campbell was so cozy in her costume that she fell fast asleep while we were out in the neighborhood.
Trick-or-treating:
Our family:
ROAR!!! Hayes was super happy to be a tiger for Halloween---it's one of his favorite animals, along with a lion and a cheetah.

After a successful candy run:

Here is some audio of Fisher while we were snuggling before bedtime.  He wouldn't have said a word if he knew the camera was running, so that's why it's in the dark.  We just love his cute little voice and are trying to make sure we record things like this since the kids change so quickly.
