Trip to the Zoo

We made a trip to the Southwick Zoo in Southwick, Mass. a few weekends ago.  The zoo is just the right size for toddlers, with enough room to run around but not too big to where Hayes couldn't walk the whole time.  Below is my older brother's doppelganger:

We even got to go on a train ride!
Aghhhh---I tried to get the perfect picture of the swan and its reflection, but his head was turned a little bit.  I am so OCD!

My favorite part of the zoo was a large enclosure where the deer were VERY tame.  There were several stations where you could buy corn to feed the deer by hand.  They were not the least bit shy of coming right up and sniffing your hand to see if you had any goodies.  Very cool!
Hayes was finally brave enough to touch an animal!

Hayes' favorite part of the zoo was the "kid trap" area that had a bounce house and several kiddy rides (that cost extra money, of course).
Fisher spent most of the zoo trip checking things out from the stroller.  Isn't he the picture of relaxation?
