Fisher had a span of a week or so without a cold (which gave us a break from wiping his snotty nose), but brought home a new one from daycare this week. I keep telling myself that he's building up his immune system at this young age and hence, will never be sick when he goes off to school. (Yes, I realize this is delusional and wishful thinking.) In other Fisher news, he has started to make the "Guh" sound. Hopefully, with the addition of consonant sounds to his vocabulary, "mama" and "dada" won't be far behind!
Here is take 2 of the weekly picture. The hat makes him look like a completely different baby:
So happy with daddy:
Fisher is fascinated by the computer:
My boys having a little fun making a "Hayes sandwich:"

We finally got Hayes a "big boy bed." (There was a crazy mix-up with the rails that transform his crib to a toddler bed, so we bought him a toddler bed instead.) He is so proud of his new bed and didn't even want to read books before nap today because he couldn't wait to try it out. So, he slept in the new bed for nap and did great. Hopefully, he'll do well at night time---we'll see!

One night this week, we were going over Hayes' letter of the day that he had been working on at school, which happened to be 'R.' Kyle was naming things that start with 'R' and said, "Hayes, RAIN starts with an 'R.' To which Hayes replied, "No Daddy, RAIN starts with CLOUDS!!!" You can't argue with that!
Parting shot for the week---Sleepy time with my sweet baby:

Glad that they're doing well in the new day care. Fisher is always so smiley, despite the fact that he's been sick. Congratulations, Hayes, on your new big boy bed!
Sounds like a scientist to me. Of course, everyone knows rain comes from clouds. Can't wait to "visit" this afternoon.Love Grandmama
I would frame that last shot...love it!
