Visitors!

A few weekends ago, we were lucky enough to have more visitors. Anna, Ms. Donnie, and Mary Hudson (MH) drove all the way up to CT from North Carolina. We had a great visit, though it was short since Anna had to get back to her doctoring duties. I've posted about a gazillion pictures---sorry---but they were all so great!

Here are MH and Hayes watching the dogs across the street:

Isn't Mary Hudson beautiful?

Playing with Kyle:

Eating some cinammon toast that Ms. Donnie made--it was a big hit!

Feeding each other:

Wonder who she gets this from??? Actually, it's definitely not from Anna---I don't think she ever sits down and puts her feet up!

Look at this cool new tent that our visitors brought Hayes!
Bathing together in the big tub (with PG hand screen):
After a nice game of cards played while the munchkins napped (oh, and Donnie and I won!):

So, it turns out that Ms. Donnie is a wonderful dance coach. Anna and I had gone to pick up some pizza and there was an impromtu dance recital while we were gone. Sorry the video is sideways---but you'll get the picture. They are ridiculously cute, aren't they?

It rained on the Saturday they were here, so we needed an indoor activity to entertain the kiddos. Anna had the great idea to go bowling. I have to admit that I thought it was going to be a disaster, chasing the little ones around the whole time. Boy, was I wrong! They LOVED it! And the best part was that us adults were actually entertained at the same time! Kyle and I have since added the 'bowling alley' to the list we keep of things to do during the cold, winter months.

On Sunday, the sun was out, thank goodness! We had a hayride out to a pumpkin patch (which was a huge disappointment after being so spoiled with the terrific pumpkin patches in Kansas).

Then, we made a trip back to the local apple orchard. Hayes and MH got to "drive" a tractor. Hayes was THRILLED and would have stayed on that tractor all day long if we had let him.

There was another "pumpkin patch" at the apple orchard, where the kiddos played a bit:

In the orchard:

Anna, Ms. Donnie, and Mary Hudson, thank you so much for coming to visit us! We had a great time and y'all are welcome back anytime!
