Last weekend was a wonderful one. We made a trip to Mystic for a picnic on the Green and took a short boat ride (Hayes' first one ever) at the Seaport. The weather was gorgeous (78 degrees) and Hayes really enjoyed playing and running around. Although it will pain Kyle to have me write this, I think Hayes is a born soccer player---just look at him dribble the ball!
Hayes' "skullet" has returned! He has a thin layer of blond (but darkening) hair all over, but a thicker patch at the base of his skull that curls up a little after a nap or wearing a hat. Let's hope it all fills in soon so we can say goodbye to his skullet forever!

We also walked to the downtown Mystic area, window shopped and ate ice cream from the Drawbridge Ice Cream Shop at the foot of the (you guessed it) Mystic Drawbridge. Hayes and (especially) Kyle were transfixed by the bridge when it opened to let a few sailboats through. 
Oh, and we haven't eaten at this restaurant yet, but we snapped a pic....do you recognize it?

I just watched Mystic Pizza this weekend while packing. Did you try it? Love the "skullet" shot!
