Week 17

We couldn't decide between the two different weekly pictures. Miss Campbell generally has at least one outfit change a day due to the volume and frequency of her spit-up. Baby Yuk-yuks!

This picture was taken at the pediatrician's office while we were waiting for Campbell's 4 month vaccines.  She cried a little but then settled down quite quickly.  As for her growth stats, she weighed in at 13 pounds, 10.5 ounces (35th percentile), was 24.75 inches long (60th percentile), and her head was 41 cm (60th percentile).  Her cheeks are still nice and full, but she's not nearly as chubby as she was when she was born.  She is sleeping through the night about 3/4 of nights.  She still eats about every 2 hours during the day.  And we're all completely besotted with her!

Fisher is such a little turkey.  Lately, he'll say something and when I answer, he'll say, "no mommy, I talkin' to daddy."  He's getting a little attitude and more of a mind of his own. Basically, he is TWO! We have to encourage him to use his words and have to resort to time outs a bit more than we had in the past.  But then, he'll be sweet as pie, giving hugs and snuggling and telling me that he's still my baby.  Here, he decided he wanted to sweep the floor for us:

Hayes has been learning so much at school.  He is doing really well with the sounds that letters make but hasn't yet gotten the concept that you can put the letters together to make words based on those sounds.  I can't wait to see him when that lightbulb comes on!  Hayes "reading:"

I am officially my father's daughter---I am a trash picker!!!  I was driving home the other night and saw some baby items out by the curb of a neighbor's house.  I quickly grabbed a perfectly good  rocking horse and this activity mat (which replaced the one that I sold at our garage sale last summer).  My dad will be so proud!

 We took the kids to the pool last weekend.  It was Campbell's first time in any water other than her bath.  She loved it! Here she is in her cute little swimsuit:
