Week Three

Campbell's Week Three picture shows the blueberries we picked on her first trip to the U-pick farm up the road.  One of the great things about living in CT is that we get to pick just about any fruit you can think of during the summer and fall---strawberries, peaches, plums, blueberries, cherries, raspberries, blackberries, nectarines, apples, and the list goes on.

 We're starting week 4 already and we still have a very sleepy baby.  I swear all Miss Campbell wants to do is eat and sleep!  It is a struggle to get her to have some "awake time" during the day-- in hopes that she won't decide to have her awake time at night.  For the most part, she's been doing alright at night, waking every 3-3.5 hours on average.  Kyle is such a champ--he gets up to change her diaper for me and then I struggle to stay awake and feed her.  I have watched a whole lot of crap TV because that's about the only thing that keeps me awake!

Otherwise, she seems to be doing great, although she is a bit fussy in the evenings but can be calmed down fairly easily with frequent feedings, a good swaddle, and walking outside with her (both she and Fisher seemed to be soothed as soon as we stepped out the door into the warm air). 

Last weekend, we went to the first of the Summer Concert Series in our town and enjoyed some live music and a picnic dinner.  Hayes and Fisher then played and played in one of the gazebos:

 Comfy with Daddy at the dinner table---Campbell has an uncanny sense of when we are eating dinner and wakes from the deepest sleep to be held.  Little stinker!
