Visit with Grandmama and Grandaddy

Betty and Butch flew up from South Carolina to help us celebrate Hayes' birthday. We had a great visit! Lovin' on Grandaddy:

Butch seems to be happiest when he is around his grandbabies---good thing he'll have three more in the next several months!

Hayes was really excited to get his first birthday gift from Betty and Butch, and to top it off, it was in a "Cars" gift bag! (Pay no attention to the blimp in the background...)

We've had two really nice spring weekends out of the past three. Unfortunately, Betty and Butch visited on the cold, windy weekend in the middle of the nice ones. Hayes doesn't care and loves to be outside no matter the temperature!

Sharing rocks with Grandaddy:

The day after his birthday, Hayes got to go to Bounce Town with Kyle, Betty, and Butch. Kiddos have to be 2 to play at Bounce Town, so Hayes just made the cutoff. At first, he was a little intimidated and made Kyle go down all the slides and in the bounce castles with him. But after a while, he joined right in with the big kids and went by himself. He had a blast! We'll definitely have to take him back. Here he is up on one of the slides:
