Visit from Kyle's Parents

Betty and Butch made the trip up to CT to see us a few days after my parents left. It was a wonderful but short visit, as they stayed for a long weekend. We were unlucky with the weather for most of their stay---it rained and was chilly almost the whole time. So, we enjoyed some indoor acitivities. One afternoon, while I was at work, everyone else headed to a small, local children's museum. Hayes seemed to enjoy himself, enchanted (and a little frightened at first) by the animals.

Here is one of Hayes playing one of his new favorite games--peeking under and into hidey-holes (sorry, it's a little blurry, but cute all the same):

Here are Betty and Hayes inspecting the "learning quilt" that Betty hand-made:

Hayes playing in the small space between the couch and wall---he loves to wedge himself into the smallest spaces:

Hayes cuddling Anya---we say he is "loving her," and she tolerates it pretty well:

Betty and Butch brought Kyle's old stuffed lion. It was well-loved, but Hayes thought it was pretty neat and immediately hugged and cuddled it!
